About: Link never knew his parents.

His never met his father, and his mother was attacked and mortally wounded mere days after his birth. Knowing her child was destined to be great, she begged the Great Deku Tree to raise him among the Kokiri. The Great Deku Tree accepted.

Throughout the years, it was evident that this child - Link - was different. He did not have a guardian fairy of his own, and was picked on by the Kokiri save for his one friend, Saria. Eventually, a fairy, Navi, was sent to be his guardian.

Link is summoned by the Great Deku Tree, who is dying of a curse. Although the curse is broken, it's too late, and the Great Deku Tree dies, but not before sending Link to Hyrule Castle, for the world is threatened by the evil wizard that cursed him. There, he meets Princess Zelda, who has had dreams about Hyrule's future and asks Link to find the three sacred stones and claim the mythical Triforce before the wizard, Ganondorf, does. After retrieving the stones, Zelda, being pursued by Ganondorf, throws the Ocarina of Time into the castle moat. With it, Link opens up the Sacred Relm, but Ganondorf, having followed him, grabs the Triforce first, and that is the last thing Link remembers before waking up...

...in a whimsical world filled with Indians, pirates, mermaids, and pixies.
Main Weapon: The Kokiri Sword, a short sword that's suited for smaller and younger fighters. He also uses the Deku Shield, a basic, lightweight wooden shield, to protect himself.
Fighting Style: Although he is a natural at handling the sword, against tougher enemies, Link relies on resourcefulness in order to pull through. This often means using what's available to him - the environment, or any other tools he has, to aid him when a straight up sword battle just won't cut it. Often, he will attempt to find an enemy's weak point before going on a full offensive.
Strengths: Link is very clever, and a very talented sword fighter, even at his young age. He's fairly quick and fearless and will use everything he can to his advantage. Once he finds a weak point he will go after it.
Weaknesses: He's Link, he doesn't have any weaknesses! A small, not yet mature child, when it comes to brute strength, Link can be overpowered. Also, if an enemy lacks a weak point or manages to hide it from Link, it makes battles much tougher for him. As he just has his sword, shield, and the Ocarina of Time, (everything else in his possession was lost during the transfer to Centerverse) his options are severely limited.

Link is owned by Nintendo, this journal is used for fun and non-profit roleplay. This version of Link is based on his younger Ocarina of Time incarnation
